Sardinia hosts some of the most important natural resources, not only of Italy but of the whole Europe: deserted coast, mountains, Mediterranean forest, rare animals, endemiche plants, that are particoular and exclusive to specific and sometimes limited areas.
The sea, considered one of the most famous in the world, is certainly the main attraction for tourists who remain enchanted by the vaste, deserted beaches by the isolated bays and by the wild isles, the beatiful colours and the unlimited uncontaminated waters.
But the Sardinian scenary is panoramic everywhere and the inland presents very interesting, still undiscovered aspects from the archaeological and artistic, to the ethnographic and gastronomic.
Sardinia is said to be the largest open air museum in the Mediterranean. The "nuraghe", magestic prehistoric tower, built with squared stones is the monument that simbolize the island.
